What is the purpose?
Specific Objective: 3.2: Developing and enhancing sustainable, climate resilient, intelligent and intermodal national, regional and local mobility, including improved access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility
To improve the navigation conditions and safety of the waterways by adoption of sustainable technologies, GPS-based positioning, regional collaboration for the marking activity and commitment to environmental preservation.

Status
The project is in implementation. Until the present moment, the following progress has been achieved:
- The procurement procedure for the technical coastal marking vessels was finalized by signing the contract on 08.2025. On 13th of August 2025 the LP has already organized the first meeting with the selected contractor for vessels purchase and the deadlines for delivery and acceptance of implemented services, as well as their payment, have been set.
- The tender documentation for the purchase of floating signalization was finalized by signing the contract on 21.08.2025. The first meeting with the selected contractor was organized on 20th of August 2025 and the deadlines for delivery and acceptance of implemented services, as well as their payment, have been set.
- The procedure for coastal marking was concluded for the LP by signing contract on 28.10.2024 for the acquisition of 980 coastal signals (1,100 m2), respectively 452-kilometer indicators and 528 coastal signals. In the period 13.11 – 09.12.2025 there were delivered and accepted 191 coastal signals and 452 kilometre indicators and in the period 11.12.2024 – 27.01.2025 there were delivered and accepted 337 coastal signals. The execution of the contract was completed.
- The procedure for coastal marking was concluded for P2 by signing contract on 07.04.2025 for production of 472 pieces of kilometer signs, 528 pieces of coastal signs and 20 pieces of coastal lanterns. The execution of the contract is ongoing, expected to be completed in September 2025.
- The procurement procedure for development of IT platform, under the responsibility of the Lead Partner, was concluded by signing contract on 28.10.2024. At present, the platform is in process of development.
- In regard to the communication activity, the LP and P2 developed promotional materials, part of which were distributed during the project kick-off conference organized in June 2024 in Ruse, Bulgaria and during the Steering Committee meetings of the project, organized on 13.02.2025 in Ruse, Bulgaria and on 17.07.2025 in Comana, Romania. Also, the both project partners planted trees near the institutions’ headquarters. Press releases in this regard have been posted in local and social media.
